Here is a new design that I made to promote an upcoming art and muisc night June 28th 2013 @ Electric Tea Garden Seattle, WA.

Next month at Electric Tea Garden on Capitol Hill in Seattle, WA we are throwing our dope art and music event. We will showcase art starting at 10pm and have an awesome lineup of house music till 4am!

I saw something that inspired me so I designed this using Helvetica.

Here is another eyeball reflection for this Friday’s art show at Echo Echo in Greenwood. I call this piece The Misfit and the reflection is a sort of Misfit’s skull. The words are from a Misfit’s song and also represent the subject’s thoughts…Although, on the original I have hand written the words.

On Friday, at the gallery, next to each piece I will have an explanation for each eye photo ( I will have 6 – 16″x20″) and I will also have a photo of the reflected image so the viewer will be able to identify it easier in the eyeball. I am really looking forward to this and have received some awesome feedback thus far.

This sample photo is part of a series called sleepwalkers. my goal with this series is to show what people may see while dreaming or sleepwalking.

What i have done is photographed the iris up close so it seems to take on a form of something else…something dreamlike.
also, in the reflection of the iris i added an additional image to reveal what the subject may be dreaming or witnessing.

I call this sample zodiac reflection
as the subject is viewing the zodiac killer.

I will have several new pieces in the sleepwalker series up at echo echo gallery located in urban light studios on jan 11th.

I have been experimenting with HDR photography. This is a bridge in Eastlake.

So, I am back to working on surrealism. I am starting a new project this week about iris’ in people eyes having to do with dreams. I will have samples of that later but today…here is a tentacle girl standing on a dock in Tacoma, WA.

So, last week I did a little light writing. I like the way the photo turned out. I wrote the word SEA for Seattle and did this on top of Gas Works Park.

i have been playing with HDR images in photoshop and the results are pretty cool…the image on the left is regular (raw) and the image on the right has been processed in photoshop with 3 (raw) images
