ARTIFAKT RETURNS TO LO FI!
Posted by: Flat Black in Artifakt Events, Artifakt News
We’re happy to announce we’ll be back at Lo Fi starting in December. We’ve missed it dearly. Our first show back will be on December 11th and it’s gonna showcase all female art and music. We’ll have more details on that event as we get closer to it.
Starting next year Artifakt will be hosting shows at Lo Fi on a bi-monthly basis and we’re going back to the second Friday of the month. We’re planning on some pretty big shows with some new themes and collaborations with the same Artifakt vibe you know and love. We’re sorry to the people that want an event every month but we promise you, you’ll be happy with what we have in store!
So see ya in December and make sure to check out the site / blog for updates on all our events and news. 2010 here we come!

Comments: none(Taken From FTF) INTERVIEW – FILEJERKS
Posted by: Flat Black in Artists

I just had the chance to sit down with a couple good friends of mine and yours, Astronomar and Shorthand aka the FileJerks. Since I met these guys, about a year ago now, I’ve seen nothing but positive things from both of them. They’ve brought a new vibe to the city and have worked with just about everyone who’s doing things. They’re playn’ gigs all over Seattle, run the FileJerks Blog, have been pumpn’ out a hand full of tunes and introduced a new sound called ‘Seattle Club’ where they’ve taken the Amen break, normally found in Drum ‘n’ Bass and turned it in to a 4/4 club track. Just good peeps all around. So if you’ve heard of them or not, you’re definitely gonna want to check out this interview.
